Locanda Persei was born out of a deep connection to the village of Prossedi and the valley it overlooks.
The idea of creating a hospitality business stems from a sincere attachment to the places where our family is from and our roots.
The decision was made to return, to ensure that the commitment, passion, and sacrifices of the people who have dedicated their lives to these places would not be lost.
In essence, to keep alive the historical memory of a cherished place.
Our goal is to help promote the region and its resources with a focus on sustainability.
Specifically, the creation of Locanda Persei involved a major restoration project of a historic building of particular value, located in the heart of the village of Prossedi; the building had been abandoned and was structurally dilapidated.
The building in question has been stabilized and renovated in a manner that preserves the authenticity of its original architectural features.
Therefore, we did not build a new facility for hospitality purposes but rather renovated the existing one.
